Orchid & Ivory Co. was established in 2026 in Metro Detroit by Pastry Chef Chelsea Suriano. Chelsea has more than 15 years of experience creating pastries of all kinds. She’s professionally trained, having studied at two pastry schools specializing in American- and European-style baking where she perfected her flavors and technique.

Hi, I’m Chelsea and I’m so honored that you’re here!
My number one pride and joy is being a mama to my little boy, Rowan. My days are full of chasing him around and experiencing life through his eyes. I absolutely love it!
When I’m not running after Rowan and crafting sweet treats in the kitchen, you’ll probably find me brewing a cup of tea with a good book in hand, making ceramics on the pottery wheel, swimming laps, or taking my pups for a walk.
Chocolate cake is my all time fav, with fruity pebble donuts coming in at a close second. Traveling fills my cup in ways nothing else can and as a family, we try to squeeze it in as much as possible.
